CONGRATULATIONS
Our club has been selected as the recipient of the Rotary Club of Englewood's Literacy Award for clubs under 50 members.
This is a recognition for three new literacy projects this year: Steve and Denise took dictionaries to Navajo children, Sherie organized 8 boxes of age-appropriate books for kids at Gardner elementary school, and Joyce organized the Rotary Readers program at Sedalia elementary school.  This is all on top of Denise and Scott's ongoing dictionary initiative.  Thank you to all who participated and made these programs work.

WELLSPRING WALK
We had a damp and cold start to our participation in Welspring's Walk to Empower, but lots of people showed up and Wellspring made a bunch of money for their worthwhile program.   Shown are Jack, Shannon and Vickie.  Lin helped organize and set up the tent.
