    CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT

SAVE THE DATE

JANUARY 27, 2019

The official website is up and running:  rockstarcornhole.com.  Check it out.
We need sponsors to be able to turn a profit.  Registrations will only cover expenses.  Think what you can do help.  Registrations are available on line.
We are a small club, so we need everyone to help in one way or another.
"HomeBuilder's Foundation" is going to be a designated beneficiary for this event.  We had a very informative and interesting presentation from what looks to be a great organization.  Looking forward to helping them out.

DR. TUCKER TO VISIT
Our new Superintendent of Douglas County Schools, Dr. Tucker, will be visiting with our club at our meeting on October 25. Please join me in giving Dr. Tucker a warm welcome.

Hide In Plain Sight
We had a great presentation from "Hide In Plain Sight" last week.  Joe Roos, a member of the Highlands Ranch Rotary, has put together a non-profit that helps at-risk kids stay in school and break the cycle of poverty through scholarships.  Steve Baroch has informed us that left over funds of $3100 from past Douglas County Rotary Clubs projects is being proposed to be donated to "Hide In Plain Sight".  Hopefully we can write a grant and leverage our money.  We're waiting for unanimous approval from all DougCo Rotaries.
