DUCKY DERBY
Ducky derby turned out to be a great success. After being stuck in a parking lot last year, it was really nice to be in the new Festival Park. Bouncy castle on the grass, terrific band with great music, food trucks, a rowdy beer booth, lots of vendors, a ducky dump in Plum Creek [we actually got to use water this year], and a wildly successful silent auction.
A special big thanks to Joyce for all her hard work putting together the silent auction. Helpers Denise, Janie for setup. Bill, Jack, Steve, John V, Les, Liz for being around to help. And another big thanks to Bill for his indomitable drive in procuring prizes. We exceeded last year in quantity of prizes and money raised.
It was inspiring to see three Rotary clubs come together and put on a successful event.
