SERVICE TO OTHERS IS THE BEST WORK OF LIFE

WE HAVE AN INTERACT CLUB!!!!!

Joyce and Les met today at Douglas County High School with the guidance counselor, a faculty advisor and two students and signed the papers establishing The Interact Club of Douglas County High School.  We will let you know as things progress.  Wow!!!

New Best Buds

At PETS this past weekend your president [right, trying to look calm] got to meet the incoming Rotary International President, Mark Maloney [left].  Pretty cool.

DUCKY DERBY

new date
June 8th

We have recently found out that the date for Ducky Derby has been changed.  No idea why, but  SAVE THE DATE.  Think about how you can contribute.  David will have more information as it becomes available.

District Conference
April 27
The District Conference is a one day event this year and is being held at the Arvada Event Center.
Registration is online at:  Rotary5450.org.  The District Conference is the end-of-year event where our clubs get together and celebrate our achievements.  If nothing else, you can get the feeling of just how much larger Rotary is than just what our club does.  Our club allows $50 per member per year to attend any Rotary function.  John and Joyce are attending and would love to car pool.

SPECIAL NOTICE RE: MEETING
come early!

Our meeting this Thursday on March 7 will be 15 minutes early.  We need to be OUT of the room by 1:15, so we will wrap things up by 1:00.  As our speaker is Castle Rock's newly elected mayor, we will try to give him as much time as possible.  Flying Horse is setting up 15 minutes early so come early, grab your grub and we will start the meeting about 12:05.
