DUCKY DERBY

TICKET SALES

Stay with it.  This is a big fund raiser for our foundation.  New sign-up sheet will be coming around.

Dr. Tucker receives award

Dr. Tucker, Superintendent of Douglas County Schools, was presented an honorary membership to our club at the last meeting.  Dr. Tucker is a previous member of the Rotary Club of Worthington AM [Cincinnati] whose motto is "Rise to Service".  Hopefully we will see more of him.
Interact Club sells tickets
Our new Interact Club is getting in the swing of things and helping out with selling DD tickets.  Pictured above are Kaitlen, Mr. Thrall [faculty advisor], Joyce [Rotary sponsor] and Gabby.  Part of their ticket sales will go to their club for their community projects.

Transition Dinner
Denise and Mike Frasier have graciously consented to having our transition dinner at their home.  Looks like the date of Saturday, July 13 is set and confirmed.  Probable start time of 5:30PM.

Scholarship Winners
Claire Erick and Caitlyn Mendik, both from Douglas County High School, have been selected as $1000 scholarship winners from our club.  We will be hearing more from them soon.
